Public Art in The Middle East- Genius of the desert by Nadim Karam & Atelier Hapsitus.

“The Genius of the Desert” developed by Nadim Karam and Atelier Hapsitus, is a stainless steel super shiny finish large-scale sculpture of 3.6m high. It was commissioned for the Contemporary Art Platform (CAP) Kuwait, in 2011.

Within “The Genius of the Desert”, traditional culture and Kuwaiti heritage intersect into a network giving rise to a contemporary form; layers of stories provide texture to the ultimately simple shape of a desert flower.
